F5 BIG-IP iSeries models

BIG-IP i15000 Series / 2RU

The i15000 Series offers high performance for security and services in a 2RU form factor. With 300M concurrent L4 connections, the i15x00 enables the consolidation of multiple services on a single device, including TCP/IP optimization, traffic routing, firewall, DDoS, CGNAT and DNS. The i15000 series includes:

i15000 appliances offer the highest performance, high-speed ports per RU density available in an appliance, as well as the highest L4 throughput, 320/160G, L4/L7 throughput and up to 10M L7 RPS supports.

BIG-IP i11000 Series / 1RU

The BIG-IP i11000 Series of high-performance ADC appliances includes dedicated cryptographic hardware to enable SSL offload and hardware-based support for Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). i11800 appliances offer the highest L7 request performance per second in a 1RU form factor. The i11000 Series includes:

BIG-IP i2000 Series

Integration with VMware vRealize Orchestrator via the Blue Medora vRO plugin reduces setup time, enables self-service of F5 application services by application owners, and automates complex, multi-step workflows. F5 iWorkflow™ enables the integration of F5 appliances with SDN (Software Defined Networking) orchestration systems that provide a single point of contact between the orchestrator and the F5 appliances.

Easy Troubleshooting

The licensed BIG-IP iSeries appliances include a Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) and support for the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) protocol. With BMC firmware and AlwaysOn Management (AOM), F5 customers can access internal sensor data more deeply to monitor the system, including multiple temperature, airflow and voltage readings.

Out-of-band alerts for hardware-level issues are possible without a TMOS instance running. Get remote system console access to BMC and AOM functions through the same TMOS management port IP address, eliminating the need for a dedicated or separate network. BIG-IP iSeries devices can also display system information such as sensor readings for troubleshooting on their color LCD touchscreens.
